Meet and Greet

The First Step to Safe, Happy Play

Before joining daycare or boarding, all dogs go through this process to ensure they’re a good fit.

Once your appointment is confirmed, you’ll receive an email with a link to your personal dashboard. From there, you can:

  • Complete your registration

  • Upload vaccination records

  • Review and sign our Pet Parent Agreement

Need a hand? No problem—we’re happy to call your vet and collect records for you!

What to Expect on Meet & Greet Day

Arrive ready: Please bring your pup on a leash with a collar or harness.

Evaluation time: One of our trained evaluators will spend around 15 minutes getting to know your furry friend. You’re welcome to ask questions, tour the facility, and watch the playrooms in action.

Day of play—for free: If your pup passes the evaluation, they’re invited to stay and enjoy the rest of the day of play—on us!

What We Look For During the Meet & Greet

  • Overall wellness and health
  • How your pup responds to staff
  • Comfort level in a crate
  • Behavior in open-play settings with other dogs
  • General temperament and behavior (we suggest a minimum 5-hour stay for the most accurate evaluation)
  • Bonus: Passing pups get to spend the day playing—complimentary!

Meet & Greet Requirements

To keep our environment safe and comfortable for everyone, we ask that all pups meet the following guidelines before joining:

  • Vaccines: Up to date on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella

  • Age requirements: Puppies must be at least 12 weeks old and fully vaccinated

  • Spay/neuter: Dogs older than 7 months must be spayed or neutered

  • New adoptees: Adult dogs newly adopted should stay in their new home for at least 30 days before participating

  • Overnight boarding: All new overnight guests recommend three daycare sessions before their first overnight stay

At Tails Time, we’re committed to crafting a safe, welcoming space for every dog—and every parent.
